Ndlovu ancestors belonged to the Ndebele nation which included various tribes such as Ndabezitha, Xhosa and Nguni. Following Mfecane war, some tribes left Zululand and settled in Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique and Mthwakazi – keeping some aspects of their original names while adopting new ones.
