Rharhabe had a son named Ngobo who was an aggressive warrior. Mahlubi, Mahlubo’s wife at that time, fell for Hadebe and tried to kill her over his love. Hadebe’s children disapproved and thus became known as amaHlubi.
This group continues fighting today for royal status and their rightful place among royalty – something many modern day Africans resent immensely.
